5.4. Text Functions: LENGTH()

LENGTH() function helps us determine the number of characters in a string of text. It’s one of the functions we can use to convert a dimension field to a metric field.

In this lesson we will see how we can count the number of words of a dimension field like the search query using the LENGTH() function together with another function in Looker Studio.
