Looker Studio's Presentation Mode is a useful feature that allows you to display your multi-page reports on a large screen and have it switch between pages every few seconds, showcasing different sets of data.
To activate Presentation Mode, click on the ellipses menu and select "Present." The report will then enter full-screen mode. When you hover your mouse at the bottom left of the page, you'll see some display options:
Choose the display option that best suits your needs.
You can decide how quickly you want the slides to advance by selecting a time interval: 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, or 1 minute. Note that the slides won't automatically advance unless you click "Play." Once the slideshow starts playing, it will advance to the next page after the specified time interval.
You can still use the keyboard arrow keys to navigate between pages in Presentation Mode, and you can pause the slideshow by clicking "Stop."
Keep in mind that Presentation Mode respects the data freshness settings selected for your data source. For example, if your Google Analytics data source is set to refresh every hour, the report will fetch new data from the data source every hour when the page loads. Between refreshes, the report will display the same data, ensuring that it doesn't make unnecessary API requests.
Looker Studio's Presentation Mode is an excellent way to showcase your reports on a large screen, allowing you to cycle through different pages and keep your audience engaged with up-to-date data.
